REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Posting something is offering a view, not filing a report. The picture shows a good hour and makes no claim about the other twenty-three, and the person who put it up is not lying by leaving those out. Trouble starts when either side treats it as a summary: the viewer as evidence of a whole life, the poster as a record that has to be kept impressive. It was only ever a window, deliberately sized.
When you post, let it be one thing you liked rather than a case you are making. And when you look, remember you are being shown a window and not a floor plan.
What does your own posting leave out of an ordinary week?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
