A fence that looks complete to you may be a complicated problem to another creature.

Barriers are only simple from one side. A boundary that looks tidy and finished to whoever built it can be an impassable wall, a trap, or a severed route to water for something that has to live around it. The same holds for steps, turnstiles, forms and phone systems built by people who never had to get through them with a wheelchair, a pram or a shaking hand. Completeness is judged from the point of view of the builder.
Pick something you have made or maintain and try to meet it as someone unlike you would. Better still, ask someone who already does.
Which boundary of yours looks simple until someone else meets it?
