The freshly changed bed offers comfort through work the sleeper did not have to witness.

Comfort usually arrives already finished, with the effort removed from view. Someone stripped, washed, dried and wrestled a duvet cover, and what reaches the sleeper is only the cool clean feeling at the end of a long day. That invisibility is part of the gift and part of the risk, because work nobody sees is work nobody thanks.
Say something specific to whoever does this in your house, or notice it in yourself if the answer is you. When you are the one making the bed for someone tired, let it be a deliberate kindness rather than a chore. The work is the same either way.
What comfort do you enjoy without seeing who prepared it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
