A closed blind may mean rest rather than rejection of the world outside.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Withdrawal is not always a message about other people. A drawn blind can mean daylight is too much today, or that someone is sleeping when they can, or simply that a person needs a while with less coming in. Reading it as a refusal says more about the watcher than the household. Rest often looks like absence from the outside.
When someone goes quiet, let your first assumption be tiredness rather than rejection. Leave a way back that costs them nothing: a message with no question in it, or an offer that does not need answering today.
When you withdraw for rest, who reads it as rejection?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
