Stop asking how fast it can happen and start asking how long you can remain committed.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Speed is the wrong question because you do not control it. Timelines depend on luck, circumstance, and things you cannot see yet, and treating a fast result as the standard means the ordinary pace of real progress will always read as failure. Duration is the variable you actually hold. How long you can stay is what determines almost everything else.

Swap the question in your head from how quickly to how long. Ask what pace you could genuinely maintain for two years without resentment, and then set that pace even though it feels too modest. Nearly everyone who gets somewhere got there by not stopping.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

How long are you honestly willing to stay with your current goal?
