Good ideas often arrive wearing impractical clothes.

CREATIVITY
A real idea arrives before its logistics do. It shows up impractical because the practicalities are the last part to be invented, and dismissing it for that is dismissing it for being early. Most of what feels unworkable is a scheduling problem wearing the costume of an impossibility.
When you catch yourself saying an idea will not work, be specific about which part will not work. Often it is one constraint, not the whole thing. Try holding the idea and letting the constraint be the thing that changes.
Which idea did you dismiss for being inconvenient rather than wrong?
