Creativity becomes stronger when curiosity enters subjects outside your usual world.

Ideas come from collisions, and collisions need material from more than one place. Staying inside your own field means recombining the same pieces everyone in it already has. A stray subject you have no professional business studying gives you shapes and metaphors that nobody around you is carrying.

Spend a few hours this month on something with no obvious use to you. Read outside your work, learn a small piece of a craft you will never practise. Do not force the connection, just carry the material and let it find its problem later.
