Creating something meaningful requires tolerating periods where nobody understands it yet.

Meaning takes time to become visible to other people. Work that lands immediately usually lands because it fits an existing shape, and anything genuinely new has to build the shape it will be understood inside. The gap between making it and being understood is not a sign of failure but the cost of doing something that did not exist.

Decide in advance how long you are willing to work without recognition, and make that number honest. Find one or two people who can see what you are attempting. That is usually enough company to keep going.
