The thing demanding notice is not always the thing needing care.

REFLECTION
Attention gets pulled by volume, and volume is a poor guide to need. The loudest problem in a day, or the loudest person in a room, has simply reached you first, while the quieter thing may be closer to failing. Urgency and importance overlap only sometimes. People and systems both tend to break in the places that never shouted.
Once this week, ask what has been quiet for a while that might not be fine. Check on the person who stopped complaining, or the part of the work nobody mentions. A short deliberate look at the quiet things is a good habit to build.
What quiet need have you postponed for something louder?
