The person working outdoors experiences the pleasant weather as a working condition.

A fine day is not a fine day for everyone in it. For someone roofing, delivering or picking, sunshine means heat on the back of the neck, water that runs out, and a shift that gets harder as the afternoon goes on. The same sky is a pleasure to one person and a variable to be managed by another.

When the weather is good, spare a thought for who is out in it by obligation rather than by choice. Offer a cold drink to someone working at your door. And if a delivery is slow on the hottest day of the year, let that go.
