LEADERSHIP
A kindness done without anyone knowing is a different act from the same kindness performed. The moment credit enters, part of the motive shifts, and both you and the person helped can feel it. Doing it quietly keeps the thing clean and also spares the other person the small debt that comes with public generosity. Discomfort at being praised for it is a good sign rather than false modesty.
Do one useful thing this week that nobody will attribute to you. Resist mentioning it afterwards, including the sideways mention that lets someone work it out.
Which kindness could you do without anyone ever finding out?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
