The wisest man may be wiser to-day than he was yesterday, and to-morrow than he is to-day. Total freedom from change would imply total freedom from error; but this is the prerogative of Omniscience alone.

CREATIVITY
Changing your mind is evidence that you are still working. Someone whose views have not moved in ten years is either finished or has stopped looking, because anyone taking in new information keeps finding where they were wrong. Consistency gets treated as integrity, and most of the time it is simply a closed door. Nobody gets to be free of error, so nobody gets to be free of revision either.
Find something you thought last year and check whether you still hold it. When you change a view, say so plainly rather than sliding across quietly. The plain version makes it possible for others to do the same.
What did you believe last year that you have since abandoned?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
