What is not good for the swarm is not good for the bee.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

Your interests are not separable from the interests of the group you live inside. A gain that damages the team, the family or the neighbourhood comes back to you through a place you were not watching. This is a practical observation as much as a moral one.

Before the next move that is good for you and awkward for everyone else, follow it two steps forward. Who has to absorb the cost, and do you have to work with them afterwards. Where a thing only works if nobody else does it, that is usually the sign to think again.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Where does your advantage come out of someone else’s loss?
