The world’s great men have not commonly been great scholars, nor its great scholars great men.

LEADERSHIP
Deep study and decisive action ask for different temperaments, and the hours that feed one tend to starve the other. Reading widely teaches you how much can be said against any course, which is exactly what makes acting hard. Doing large things takes a tolerance for being publicly half-wrong that careful minds rarely have.
Work out which way you lean and borrow deliberately from the other side. If you read more than you act, set a date and move before you feel ready. If you act more than you read, give an hour a week to something that might change your mind.
What have you studied instead of attempting?
