When men are arrived at the goal, they should not turn back.

RESILIENCE
Having got where you were going, the temptation is to go back and check, to revisit the old arrangement, to make sure the thing you left is still there. That undoing is more common than outright failure. Arriving asks something of you, which is to take up the new position rather than hover between it and the last one.
If you have recently made a change, stop rehearsing the alternative. Put your energy into settling in: the new routines, the new people, the work in front of you. Give it a fixed period before you allow yourself to reconsider anything.
What did you complete and then quietly undo?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
