Pressure is expensive tuition, but the lesson can last forever.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Some understanding is only available at a price nobody would agree to pay in advance. Pressure teaches by making the consequences immediate, so what you learn goes in deeper than anything you could have read. That does not make the cost fair or the experience worth repeating. It just means the knowledge is real and it does not expire.
After a costly period, write down plainly what you now know that you did not before. Keep it somewhere you will find again, because these lessons fade faster than you expect once life settles. Having paid for it, you may as well keep it.
What did a costly experience teach you that you still use?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
