Your future cannot respond to work you only imagined doing.

Imagined work produces imagined results. The future only responds to what actually entered the world, and the gap between a detailed mental version of a project and its complete absence in reality is total, however vivid the mental version was.

Check what you have been doing in your head for months. Move the smallest piece of it into something external, a file, a message, a physical object. Only that part can be built on.
