LEADERSHIP
Caution is the first thing experience teaches, which is why careful people so often turn out to be the ones who have been burned. Before you know much, everything looks equally possible; after a few bad outcomes you learn that some doors are worth checking before you walk through. That instinct to slow down is not timidity, it is information arriving in a form that does not use words.
When you feel a hesitation you cannot justify, do not override it and do not obey it blindly either. Give it five minutes and ask what it has seen before. Then decide with that on the table.
Where has slowing down saved you from an obvious mistake?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
