It is the mind that makes the body rich.

REFLECTION

REFLECTION
What you have is worth whatever your mind makes of it. Two people with identical circumstances will describe them differently, one counting what is present and the other counting what is absent, and the difference is not in the circumstances. This is not a trick for pretending hardship away, and real lack is real. It is the observation that a great deal of how rich a life feels is decided inside the person living it.
Write down what you have this week rather than what is missing, and be specific rather than grateful in the abstract. Then notice which of your wants are yours and which arrived by comparison.
What would feel like plenty if your thinking changed first?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
