Work improves through feedback, and feedback requires exposure. Anything kept internal is only being assessed against your own expectations, which are the same expectations that produced it, so the errors stay invisible. Contact with the world is not a final step, it is part of the process.

Release earlier than feels right, to a small audience if that helps. Improvement is a loop, and it cannot start until something has gone out.
