Finish before your standards become an excuse to hide.

High standards are genuinely valuable and they also make an excellent hiding place, because refusing to release something imperfect sounds like integrity while functioning as avoidance. The two are almost impossible to tell apart from inside, which is why the distinction has to be checked deliberately.

Ask what would actually be worse if this went out now. If you cannot name something specific, the standard has become a shelter. Set a date and finish.
