Work that ships can find opportunities work that hides never meets.

Released work goes places you did not send it. It gets forwarded, found, and remembered by people you would never have reached deliberately, and opportunities follow from that circulation. Hidden work has no surface for any of that to attach to. Circulation is something you cannot arrange, only allow.

Put something out publicly, even something small. The point is not the reception but the surface area. Most good chances arrive through work that was simply findable.
