Work out your own salvation. Do not depend on others.

— Buddha

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Whatever word you use for the thing that has to be settled inside you, nobody else can settle it. Teachers, books and friends can point, and the walking is not transferable; the same advice lands differently in every life and has to be tested in your own. Depending on others for it is comfortable precisely because it postpones the part only you can do.

Notice where you are waiting for somebody to hand you a conclusion. Take the smallest piece of that question and work it out yourself this week, even badly.
