If the ideal solution is unavailable, build the useful one.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Waiting for the ideal solution means having no solution in the meantime, and the meantime is often where everything happens. A useful answer, built now with what exists, solves the actual problem and can be replaced later if the ideal becomes available.

When the right approach is out of reach, ask what would work adequately today. Build that. Temporary answers frequently turn out to be sufficient, and they always beat nothing.
