Resourcefulness makes setbacks supply materials for the next attempt.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
A setback produces things as well as taking them, in the form of information, discarded assumptions, and often skills acquired under pressure. Whether those become material for the next attempt depends entirely on whether you go looking for them before moving on.
After something fails, spend an hour cataloguing what it left you. Do it before the next attempt. Failures that are not mined this way have to be repeated to teach the same thing.
What did a recent setback leave you that you could still use?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
