The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches, but reveal to them their own.

CREATIVITY
Generosity gets measured in what changes hands, which makes the more valuable kind nearly invisible. Telling someone accurately what they are good at can redirect years, because most people carry an unreliable estimate of themselves and only revise it when somebody outside confirms it. Money helps once. Showing a person what they already have keeps paying long after you have left the room.
Say the specific thing you have noticed about somebody and never mentioned. Not encouragement in general, but the actual capability, described plainly enough that they cannot dismiss it as politeness.
Who has a gift they cannot see that you could name?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
