Respect yourself enough to leave some opportunities unanswered.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Not every open door needs a reply. Some offers are genuinely good and still not yours, and treating every possibility as something you must consider hands your attention to whoever happened to ask. The ability to let an opportunity pass without agonising is a form of self-respect, because it says your direction is worth protecting from things that are merely available.
When something arrives that is flattering but off your path, try letting the answer be no without a long internal negotiation. You do not owe an explanation to yourself either. Keep a short list of what you are actually building, and let anything that does not serve it go by without a fight.
