The road gets different when you stop expecting it to apologize for being difficult.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Much of the exhaustion of a difficult stretch comes from the protest running alongside it, the part of you insisting that this should not be happening and waiting for the situation to acknowledge its unfairness. It never does. Letting go of that expectation does not mean accepting that it is fair; it means you stop spending energy on an argument nothing is listening to. What is left goes into moving.

Notice how much of your day goes to arguing with the situation rather than working inside it. Try one day where you skip the protest and simply respond to what is in front of you. Save the question of fairness for a conversation with someone who can actually hear it.
