CREATIVITY
Original ideas usually look foolish before they look brilliant. Anyone proposing something that departs from accepted opinion will be dismissed, mocked or simply ignored, because success is the only evidence most people will accept. After it works, the same idea gets called obvious.
If you are pursuing something others find odd, their scepticism is not proof you are wrong, though it is not proof you are right either. Test the idea honestly. And when someone else brings you something that sounds strange, give it a fairer hearing than you might have received.
Which of your ideas do people humor rather than take seriously?
