Success is cleaner when resentment is not part of the business model.

LEADERSHIP
Resentment can drive a business, a career, or a project for years, and it leaves marks on everything it builds. Decisions get made to spite someone, people get hired or kept for the wrong reasons, and the whole structure carries a grievance in its foundations. Success built without that ingredient tends to be simpler to run and easier to live inside.
Look at whether any current decision is partly about getting back at someone. Separate the grievance from the choice and ask what you would do with the grievance removed. That is usually the better decision, and it is usually the one you were avoiding.
Which old resentment still shapes what you are chasing?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
