Adversity asks questions comfort never thinks to ask.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Comfortable conditions do not raise difficult questions, because nothing forces them. Hardship asks directly what matters most, who is actually with you, and what you would keep if you could only keep a few things. The answers arrive whether or not you were ready for them. That is the strange usefulness of a period nobody would have chosen.
While the answers are still fresh, write down what a hard time showed you about your priorities. It fades quickly once the pressure lifts. Then check whether your ordinary life is arranged around what you learned or around what you had assumed before.
What question did a hard season force you to answer?
