Truth is the beginning of every good to the gods, and of every good to man.

— Plato

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Nothing good gets built on a false account, because every later decision inherits the error and compounds it. A relationship, a plan, or a picture of yourself founded on something untrue can hold for a while, and it fails in proportion to how much was stacked on top. That is a practical claim as much as a moral one, and it stands whatever you do or do not believe about anything higher.

Find the one place where you are currently operating on a story you suspect is not accurate. Check it before building anything else there. Correcting it now is cheaper than it will ever be again.
