One must work and dare if one really wants to live.

RESILIENCE
Being alive and being safe are not the same project, and the second can quietly consume the first. Two things are wanted: sustained effort, which is dull, and risk, which is frightening. Most people are willing to supply one. Effort without daring becomes a well-kept rut, and daring without effort becomes a series of abandoned starts.
Name which one you are short of right now. If it is work, pick something you have been circling and put an hour into it today. If it is nerve, find the smallest honest version of the risk and take that.
Which risk at work have you been circling for months?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
