Do not restart your identity every Monday.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Treating every Monday as the launch of a new self means constantly paying the startup cost and never accumulating anything. It also quietly teaches you that the previous weeks did not count, which makes each restart a little heavier than the last. Continuing an imperfect effort almost always beats beginning a perfect one.
After a bad stretch, resume rather than restart. Pick up where things were, keep the same targets, and do not mark the occasion. Losing a week is minor. Losing the whole accumulated history because of one week is what actually costs you.
