Do not wait for a perfect day to maintain a valuable rhythm.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

The good day, when you have energy, time, and no interruptions, arrives rarely and cannot be planned around. Building a practice that only runs on days like that means a practice that runs perhaps twice a month. The valuable rhythm is the one that survives an ordinary bad Tuesday, and it will only survive if you let it be small on those days.

Define what the practice looks like on a poor day and do that version rather than skipping. Ten minutes, badly, still counts. The version that runs in bad conditions is the only one that will still exist in a year.
