Do not let an outdated self-assessment manage a developed person.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Most people carry a view of themselves formed years ago and never revised, and then make decisions on its basis. You turn down work you could now do, avoid situations you could now handle, and describe yourself in terms that stopped being accurate some time ago. The person has developed and the assessment has not.
Write down three things you believe about your abilities and ask when you last checked. Then test one this month. Bringing your self assessment up to date is one of the cheapest improvements available.
