Love and doubt have never been on speaking terms.

GRATITUDE
Real attachment and constant suspicion cannot share a space for long. Doubt keeps demanding proof, and proof is the one thing affection cannot supply on request, so the questioning eats the very thing it is trying to secure. None of which means ignoring evidence; it describes what happens when doubt becomes the permanent condition rather than a passing one.
If you are the one doubting, work out whether you are responding to what is in front of you or to something from before. If you are the one being doubted, offer the reassurance and also say plainly what cannot be proved. That honesty is kinder than endless demonstration.
Where has suspicion crept into a relationship you value?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
