Pressure does not deserve your confusion simply because it arrived loudly.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Loudness and importance are not the same, and pressure exploits the confusion by arriving urgently and demanding to be treated as decisive. A situation can be noisy, fast, and genuinely uncomfortable while still being something you have handled before, and the volume tells you nothing about the actual difficulty.
When something arrives with a lot of noise, separate how it feels from what it is. Ask what would happen in an hour if you did nothing. Often the honest answer removes most of the urgency without removing the problem.
What loud demand has been getting more attention than it deserves?
