Pressure becomes less powerful after you experience yourself handling it well.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Pressure loses much of its force once you have evidence that you can function inside it. The fear is largely about not knowing how you will hold up, and a single experience of handling something well replaces that uncertainty with a memory. Afterwards the same conditions feel considerably less threatening.

Seek out manageable versions of the pressure you dread rather than avoiding all of it. Speak up in a small meeting, take a smaller version of the difficult task. What you are building is not toughness but evidence about yourself.
