The moment everyone fears is easier when you have visited it mentally and practically before.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Fear of a moment is largely fear of its unfamiliarity. When you have rehearsed a situation both in your head and in your hands, it arrives with fewer unknowns, and what remains is difficulty rather than dread. Mental preparation alone tends to be too clean, and physical practice alone leaves you unprepared for the emotional weight, which is why both matter.

Take something you are anxious about and walk through it twice: once imagining it in detail including what could go wrong, and once actually doing a scaled-down version. Notice how much of the fear was novelty. What is left is usually manageable.
