Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.

STILLNESS
Most of what you do today will not pay out today, and if results are your only measure, the good days will look like failures. Planting and reaping run on different clocks. A day spent on something slow and unglamorous can be a very good day by the only standard that describes it accurately. Outcomes depend on weather you do not control; what you put in is yours.
At the end of today, instead of asking what you got, ask what you set in motion. A conversation started, a page written, a habit kept once more. Judge the day on that, and let the harvest arrive when it arrives.
What did you plant today that will not show up soon?
