GRATITUDE
People behave differently when they believe something larger than themselves is keeping count. Whatever you make of the belief itself, the need underneath it is real: without some fixed point outside your own convenience, your standards drift toward whatever suits you today. Something has to sit above your preferences, or your preferences quietly become the whole of your ethics.
Name what holds that place for you, plainly. It might be a person whose good opinion you would hate to lose, a promise you made, or a standard you refuse to argue down. This week, let that thing decide one choice where nobody would have known either way.
What belief do you keep because life works better with it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
