In life, as in art, the beautiful moves in curves.

Straight lines are efficient and seldom beautiful. What moves you usually arrives with some bend in it: the indirect answer, the route that takes longer and gathers something along the way, the gesture that was not strictly necessary. A life works the same way, since the parts you would keep are rarely the ones you planned in a straight line from beginning to end. Detours are not wasted time as often as you assume.
Allow one unnecessary curve this week. Take the longer way home, linger somewhere, let a thing unfold at its own speed instead of closing it efficiently.
Where have you demanded a straight line from something naturally winding?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
