Lord, grant that I may always desire more than I can accomplish.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

A life sized exactly to what you can finish is a small life. Wanting more than you can reach is not a failure of planning; it is what keeps you moving after the reachable things are done. The gap between your appetite and your capacity is uncomfortable, and it is also the thing that pulls you forward.

Look at what you are working toward and ask whether any of it is genuinely beyond you. If everything on the list sits safely inside your reach, add one thing that probably does not. You do not have to finish it to be changed by wanting it.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What do you want that is comfortably beyond your current reach?
