LEADERSHIP
A kindness done where nobody can see it has nothing mixed into it. Once an audience exists, part of the act starts working for you, and you can no longer tell how much was generosity and how much was performance. Hidden good has the useful property of being unmistakable, at least to you. It is also about the only reliable way to learn what your character is actually like.
Do one useful thing this week that nobody will ever trace back to you. Resist the small urge to mention it afterward, and notice how strong that urge turns out to be.
What good have you done that nobody will ever hear about?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
