A decision becomes powerful when action immediately follows.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

A decision that is not followed by movement is barely a decision. Intentions decay quickly, circumstances shift, and the clarity you had at the moment of choosing does not last. Action within the first day or two is what converts a conclusion into something real.

Whenever you decide something, do the smallest concrete thing immediately: send the message, book the slot, cancel the other option. Make it something that would be awkward to undo. The point is to give the decision a foothold in the world before your resolve fades.
