The clouds may drop down titles and estates, and wealth may seek us, but wisdom must be sought.

Money and standing can land on you by accident. Someone dies, a market turns, a door opens because you happened to be standing near it, and none of that required you to become a different person. Understanding has no such delivery. It only comes to whoever goes looking, and it arrives slowly, in proportion to the attention paid.

So stop waiting to feel ready and pick something you actually want to understand. Give it an hour a week that is protected from everything else. The hour is the whole method; there is not a shortcut hiding behind it.
