We gain the strength of the temptation we resist.

RESILIENCE
Whatever pulls hardest at you is also the measure of what you get back when you hold. A small refusal returns a small amount; the one that genuinely costs you something returns more, because the strength is made out of the struggle rather than around it. This is why the easy virtues never build much. Nothing was working against them.
When the pull comes this week, notice that the difficulty is the point rather than a sign you are failing. You do not have to win every time for this to accumulate. Each held moment leaves you slightly better equipped for the next.
What did saying no to something give back to you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
