When in doubt, don’t.

RESILIENCE
Hesitation is often information rather than cowardice. When some part of you will not commit, it is frequently registering something you have not put into words yet: a cost, a mismatch, a person you do not quite trust. Waiting costs you a little. Acting against a doubt you never examined can cost much more.
This does not mean never move; it means give the doubt one question before you override it. Ask what specifically you would need to know to feel settled, and see whether you can find it out. If the doubt survives that, let the answer be no for now.
Which decision have you been talking yourself into against your gut?
