Knots come loose when you stop yanking. Slow fingers, patient pulls.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Force tightens things. A tangle gives way when you find some slack and work it gently, and pulling harder does the opposite of what you want while feeling like effort. Arguments, stuck problems and strained friendships behave the same way. The instinct to push harder is usually what keeps it locked.

When something will not budge this week, try easing off before adding pressure. Ask a question instead of making a point, or leave the problem and come back in an hour. Notice how often the slack was there and you were pulling too hard to find it.
